As you walk into the Cool Spot, the three tables to the left have power points, and there are also two mezzanine sections on either side of the cafe, both offering a little privacy, and a power point under the tables.

It’s the perfect spot to settle in and get something done – just make sure you’ve got your phone to hotspot if you need to, they currently don’t offer customer WiFi!

Tucked away in the Parap Village Shops, Laneway Coffee is a cosy little cafe that gives you a busy, get-it-done vibe! The cafe has an excellent, big table that is perfect for collaborative working or small meetings, and they offer great customer WiFi.

Besser Brew Bar

Opens 6.30am – 2.30pm (closed Sundays)

Besser is a trendy cafe located in Winnellie, with plants and neon signs to fuel your creativity! Their coffee is good, their menu is great & the muffins are a work essential.

Charge your laptops first, as power isn’t readily available – but the customer WiFi is great!!

Located inside a health and supplement store – this little cafe offers healthy snacks, great coffee, and a nice little sitting area at perfect laptop height!

Beans N’ More also offer free WiFi for customers – a great little working cafe!

Roma Bar

Open 7am – 3pm

Roma Bar is a popular working option in the CBD, and they have three wall side tables with power points, and free customer WiFi!

With both indoor and outdoor options, it is perfect for a central meeting, a good coffee, and a nice space to work afterward where you can spread out on the big tables!

Rays Cafe and Patisserie

If outdoor working with a bit of space for a clear mind and some fresh air for creativity is your thing – look no further than Ray’s in the city. A big, leafy courtyard right on Smith Street is the perfect place to perch yourself for a little while – and their pastries are good too!

Ray’s also have access to the free city WiFi, and a few select tables with power access.

A bar on weekend afternoons/nights, the Trader is a vibe for that Saturday or Sunday morning work that you just want to do over a coffee with a fresh croissant. There are couches, high tables, or even a spot at the bar, and the casual weekend atmosphere is the perfect ingredient for productivity.

Sweet Brew

Open 6.30am – 3pm

Since they’ve renovated and opened up their back room, there’s a lot more space to work at Sweet Brew – but it’s also a great creative space to get your brain working. Not only filled with plants, there’s even a trendy boutique – Skin – out the back, and the steady flow of F45ers after a workout gives a good ambience.

There are large tables for meetings, but also a small little nook with power points – and we hear customer WiFi is coming soon so stay tuned for that!
