From Friday 30 July, the Olympics will be broadcast from 10am – 10pm on a big screen on the Chan lawns, opposite Parliament house!

ONE MILE’S BAR-BQ FESTIVAL
The BAR-BQ Lot Festival is sure to be no different to the usual great times that the One Mile team deliver!
The Bar-BQ Lot Festival will include amazing food from several local food suppliers like Smokey J’s and ZZAN – there’s door prizes and fun for the entire family during the day, with a jumping castle and kids face painting – and then live music all day and into the night for the adults!

POOLSIDE HIDEAWAY @ DOUBLETREE HILTON DARWIN
We will be very interested to check this one out – there’s a new hangout in the Darwin CBD! The Lillet Poolside Hideaway is the French wine backed pool party coming to Darwin on Saturday’s and Sundays at the Doubletree Darwin. Entry fee covers the lawn games, pool use, a Lillet cocktail on arrival and shared bar bites.

Our favourite little brewery in the bush is open for the long weekend Friday, Saturday, Sunday AND Monday from 10am!
They do really good Hawaiian pizza (with MANGO) and a ripper mango beer or smoothie! The best bit? You can book with them to camp on their land, which is just off the Marrakai track near Corroboree, if you are looking to get out of town!!

If the Cocktail Festival is up your alley but you want to go bigger… you can set sail on the Splash of Disco boat cruise! The full experience includes a 2.5 hour boat cruise with DJs, Karaoke on the Middle deck, bus transfer directly to the Darwin Cocktail festival with express entry and access to the “Splash of Disco” pool pavilion once inside!
