Here’s our list of the top dog-friendly venues where your friends, your date, AND your doggo are welcome!
The Beachfront Hotel, Nightcliff
With a nice big outdoor seating area right at the front, it’s the perfect place to take your pet for a beer! As long as the dogs are socialised – they’re allowed to enjoy the atmosphere until sunset, any day of the week!!
The Precinct, Darwin City
And while we’re on the theme of beers with your good boys – If you’re down at The Waterfront, The Precinct also has a great outdoor deck & lawn that’s perfect for your paw pals!
Wharf One, Darwin City
Looking for a nice restaurant experience in Darwin City with the pooch included? As long as your dog is on a leash and in the outdoor seating area – Wharf One is one of Darwin’s great dog-friendly dining options!
Your furry friends will love the outdoor area of Ray’s Cafe & Patisserie – there’s a dog bowl for them while you have a drink of your own!
The Boatshed, Cullen Bay
The beautiful cafe on the Marina in Cullen Bay welcomes good dogs on a leash at any time – how good!
Welcome to the Bark-ery… a set menu for your dogs who want to come to the cool little corner cafe in Parap! Plenty of outside seating, and they bring out dog bowls!
Eva’s Café, George Brown Garden Botanic Gardens
What a setting for both humans and pups alike – Eva’s are big advocates for bringing the dogs along, and they have the dog bowls ready to go after a run around the gardens!
And the best bit? Tag Eva’s in pics of your furry friends on Instagram for your chance to win their Pup of the Month – like these cuties did below!
The Darwin Ski Club, Fannie Bay
There aren’t many better things than a beachside sunset at the Ski Club… except maybe sunset at the Ski Club with your Dog!
The Darwin Trailer Boat Club, Fannie Bay
Or coffee looking over the ocean perhaps? Dog-friendly dining time is only until 5 pm – so make sure you schedule your outing to the Trailer Boat Club for the daytime!
The Cool Spot, Fannie Bay
The outdoor patio of the Cool Spot is the perfect place to chill for a coffee post-walk with the dog!
The Foreshore Restaurant & Café, Nightcliff
As is the Foreshore Cafe – there’s not many better ways to spend a weekend morning with your dog than heading out for a walk by the ocean, then pulling up a seat on the grass for a drink!
De La Plage, Casuarina Coastal Reserve
Picture this: a WHOLE beach where you can run the dog/s at your leisure, then relax into a comfy beach chair with a coffee/smoothie, while your pet pal relaxes on the grass looking over the ocean!
Cafe Central, Rapid Creek
We might go here JUST to find this puppy!!!!
