Nonna Dumpings

We’re calling it! These are the best dumplings in Darwin. This tiny restaurant sits only a handful of tables, but it’s well worth the wait. The menu consists almost solely of dumplings, which are clearly their specialty! Our local’s tip is to order the soup dumplings and the pork & kimchi fried dumplings, with the special chilli sauce (that’s a must!). You will not regret it! You’ll find them at 21 Knuckey St, Darwin.

Mays Dumplings

Mays Dumplings pop-up dumpling stall is found at both the Parap and Rapid Creek Markets. These rank second on our list of dumplings in Darwin. Their ingredient combinations are on-point, with flavoured pastries – beetroot, pumpkin, spinach or plain. Our locals tip is to get a combination of pork + eggplant, beef + celery, chicken + lemongrass and the vegetarian.

The Loading Bay

While LMK undergoes some renovations – you can get all the faves next door at The Loading Bay! One of our faves for so many reasons – the Bibimbap, Beef Cheeks, KFC (Korean Fried Chicken), but also the dumplings! Available in pork or vegetarian, they know how to do a dumpling. Our local’s tip – Monday is dumpling day! Order up big because dumplings are only $1 each!

Lazy Susan’s

If you’re craving some dumplings on a Sunday, then Lazy Susan’s yum cha should be on your list! We’ve also found yum cha to be extremely effective in curing a Sunday hangover. Bookings are required from 11am each Sunday. Our local’s tip is order the soup dumplings and the steamed wontons in spicy sauce.
