This is an underground favourite with Darwin locals… if they’ve been lucky enough to stumble upon this hidden gem. Sari Rasa offer a bain-marie with a selection of authentic Indonesian meat and vegetarian dishes. You can select a small plate which is actually very decent ($12) or a large plate ($13) and choose up to three options per plate. They’re hard to find, but look for the queue of people!
Three Mums Kitchen

Another pearler restaurant hidden in a city arcade, Three Mums Kitchen is a bustling Vietnamese restaurant offering all the authentic favourites. Our pick is the pork skewer or BBQ chicken banh mi – it’s worth every cent of $11!
